Document Description
The City of Winters currently directly diverts water from two wells (Well No. 1 and Well No. 3) at a rate of 1.5 cubic feet per second from the underflow of Putah Creek tributary to the Yolo By-Pass thence the Sacramento River. Well No. 1 has since been abandoned and sealed. The City has since installed four new wells (Nos. 2, 4, 5 and 6). The City has also annexed farmlands and orchards, which are to be converted into additional subdivisions and industrial areas. The petitioner proposes to have License 6514 changed to reflect the abandonment of Well No. 1 and the expansion of the place of use.
