Document Description
Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0424 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601. The proposed project consists of the extension of two existing culverts along State Route 41 between PM 10.9 and 11.9 in San Luis Obispo County. The work will occur in unnamed drainages that are dry during the summer months. This is a component of a larger roadwork project that will include revegetation wih native tree and shrub species for plants impacted. The first extension (189+18) would lengthen the existing 18 inch culvert approximately 13 feet, flare the inlet section of the pipe, and add approximately 3 feet of rock in the channel for energy dissipation. The second extension (189+75) would also extend the existing 18 inch culvert approximately 13 feet and add a drop inlet at the upstream end of the culvert. All work will occur in the dry season and will be completed with equipment from the roadway. No equipment will be in the stream channel.
