Document Description
The project proposes use of DWR personnel or designated agents to manually remove dam debris as needed to prevent unwanted impoundment of water behind obstructions placed in the creek by beavers and their dams. Removal of beaver dam debris within 50 feet downstream is needed in order to prevent delays in removing future dam debris. Debris material will be collected and removed from the site upon removal from the creek. No disturbance of surrounding vegetation or alteration of the streambed beyond that associated with debris removal will occur. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0419 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
