Document Description
The operator proposes to alter the stream to construct a single-family residence. The uphill side of the residence will be cut into the hillside and a retaining wall will be constructed to support the existing 1.5:1 fill slope, which drops from Valle Drive to the proposed residence. Another retaining wall will be constructed along the southern and western sides of the residence, which must be sufficiently high to ensure that the residence will be protected by water intrusion from the stream. The second retaining wall will also be backfilled to create a level pad for the lower floor of the residence. The area to be disturbed by the grading and soil importation is approximately 0.25 acres.
