Document Description
The operator proposes to remove debris (human generated debris, sticks and a large stump) and invasive exotic vegetation on a small sandbar in Carneros Creek at 3089 Cuttings Wharf Road, Napa County. The sandbar, debris, and wood are deflecting the water into the east bank causing the bank to erode and destabilize. Natural flows will not clear the debris jam. Removing the debris will help to reestablish stream flows and to help stabilize the bank and reestablish vegetation. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0251 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
