Document Description
This project will repair damage to the roadside embankment adjacent to Shingle Creek along Redwood Drive. The project will include the construction of concrete wing walls and headwall at the outflow of the culvert that conveys Shingle Creek across Redwood Drive, and the placement of 54 linear feet of Type A crib wall and 166 cubic yards of compacted backfill to arrest the erosion of the embankment and the road along Shingle Creek. 11 Cubic yards of rock slope protection (RSP) will be placed at the outflow of Shingle Creek for energy dissipation. This project requires a Riparian Exception and a Grading Permit. The project area is located within the existing right-of-way on Redwood Drive, approximately 0.5 miles west of the intersection of Redwood Drive and Highway 9, in Felton area.
