Document Description
The Incremental Recycled Water Program (IRWP) will need to provide for reliable treatment, reuse, recycling, and/or disposal of the wastewater generated from population anticipated in the new General Plans of the communities making up the Subregional Water Reclamation System. Also, regulatory requirements such as the California Toxics Rule applicable to recycled water discharge into the Russian River and its tributaries, have increased since the Geysers Recharge Project was selected and additional regulatory requirements are anticipated. Note: The Ocean Discharge alternative is no longer included in the IRWP.
