The City of West Sacramento Redevelopment Agency proposes to enter into a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with the Russian Church of Evangelical Christian Baptists in order to effect the sale of approximately 5.6 acres of Agency-owned land to the church. The Church proposes to build a +/- 44,192 square foot facility consisting of a chapel, multi-purpose room, Sunday-school classrooms, offices, and other related facilities. The facility will be used seven days per week with peak attendance on Sundays of approximately 1,100 persons attending morning and evening services. Weekday activities would primarily include choir practice and citizenship classes with approximately 150 persons in attendance. Services are also held on Thursday evenings with approximately 400 persons in attendance.
