The proposed project addresses 710 acres located in the northern portion of the 2,460-acre California Institution for Men (CIM), located in the City of Chino, County of San Bernardino, California. The proposed project site is also located within the boundaries of the redevelopment project area delineated in the City's Redevelopment Plan for the Merged Chino Redevelopment Project Area. The boundaries of the redevelopment area are beyond the boundaries of the proposed project area.
