Document Description
The Sakioka Farms Specific Plan would replace the current zoning of the 430-gross acre site and provide the framework, guidelines, standards, and regulations for orderly phased development of a current agricultural site over a number of years. In 2002 an NOP was issued based upon a prior develpment proposal. The EIR for this project was not certified and no activity was taken to pursue approval of the Specific Plan project.
The applicant is now seeking approval of an EIR for the Specific Plan project area based upon a revised development proposal. The uses contemplated within the current Specific Plan document are not significantly different from the 2002 proposal. However, the residential component of the Specific Plan has been removed.
