Document Description
Minor widening is proposed along the west side of Mission Road to accommodate a left turn pocket at Via Monserate and improve the turn radius at Hellers Bend and Mission Road. In addition, the project proposes to replace existing drainage pipes along Mission Road that are in need of repair or are dysfunctional in order to minimize flooding and improve drainage at Hellers Bend. These improvements include the construction of approximately 1460 feet of reinforced concrete pipe stormdrain along the west side of Mission Road. An outfall structure of approximately 120 square feet, including a headwall and riprap to prevent erosion of the creek bank, will be constructed at the discharge point of the stormdrain.
