Rehabilitate two existing campsites (#11 and #13) in Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park to provide ADA-compliant accessibility. Campsites will receive new furniture, food lockers, fire rings and water faucets. A new underground water line will be installed at campsite #11 to accommodate new facilities. In addition, campsites's parking spaces will be resurfaced to improve accessibility. Project will enhance visitor services and support continued use and maintenance.
Project consists of the maintenance and minor alteration of existing public facilities, involving negligible expansion of use beyond current levels; and minor public alterations in the condition of the land (utility trench), pursuant to Section 15304(f), which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
