Document Description
Close and restore approximately 6,400 linear feet of volunteer trails throughout Montana de Oro State Park. Public closure signs and fencing will be installed to prevent access to trails. Closed trails will be revegetated with native plant species. Project will preserve natural resources from erosion, improve habitat for sensitive species, and protect archaeologically sensitive areas. This project was developed as part of mitigation requirements for the MFSGLOBENET/WORLDCOM Fiber Optic Cable project completed at Montana de Oro State Park in 2000.
