Document Description
One year of funding for Operation and Maintenance for the Mt. Pinos and Santa Lucia Ranger Districts. The following activities will be carried out: 1) Enforcement patrols on M/C and 4WD, 2) monitoring of OHV routes for compliance with state standards for conversion of soil and wildlife habitat, 3) maintenance of designated OHV routes and repair or rehabilitation of on an off trail issues indentified during monitoring, 4) safety equipment, user information handouts, supplies for construciton of physical barriersand signing materials, 5) volunteer project coordination and supplies for volunteer OHV projects and volunteer patrols as well as providing staffing at major user oriented equipoment shows, 6) funding for portabel toilet and garbage service at popular OHV staging and camping areas, and 7) redesign and updat of existing OHV maps and outdoor OHV information signs
