Document Description
The Operator proposes to remove non-native Pierce's disease host plants and replace them with native riparian species on Redwood Creek located approximately 300 yards west of where Redwood Creek passes under Dry Creek Road, in the City of Napa, Napa County. The proposed work will take place on portions of a 1,025 foot in lenght by 25 feet wide section of the northern bank. The area impacted will be approximately 20% of this area. The Pierce's disease host plants are very sporadic under the well developed canopy. The plants will be removed by hand tools and shall be maintained on the upper bank near the fence and on the upper flood plain with an approved herbicide and on the lower bank by hand. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0172 purusant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
