Document Description
The project involves the excavation and offsite disposal of soils contaminated with lead and motor oil. The elevated soil concentrations that will be addressed include up to 36,400 parts per million (ppm) of lead and up to 6,900 ppm of motor oil. Soil excavation is planned in two unpaved areas and one stockpile inside a building. A total of approximately 400 cubic yards of contaminated soil will be excavated from both areas. The contaminated soil will be characterized and be disposed of at a Class I disposal facility. This removal action will reduce or eliminate a contaminated source that poses a threat to human health.
