Document Description
Remove Himalayan blackberrry with pruners, hedgetrimmers, and chainsaws. Treat resprouts with herbicide. Replant with approximately 500 woody plants (willow, cottonwood, alder, wild rose, etc.). Native grass and sedge plugs will be planted along the stream to stabilize the banks. After blackberry removal and before replanting, a field review for cultural resources will be conducted. The project will help return the area to native vegetation.
