Document Description
The California Department of Highway Patrol proposes to convert the existing open vehicle service bay in the facility, to an enclosed and heated space. Included work for the project is as follows: Remove and reinstall a portion of the existing metal roofing, remove a portion of existing roof trusses and install new stick framed roof structure, remove portion of existing exterior masonry wall and install new masonry wall thereby increasing depth of service bay, install manual roll-up overhead coiling doors on service bay, extend existing exit corridor to north exterior wall, provide adequate heating in service bay, provide adequate lighting in service bay, and upgrade accessibility path of travel through the facility.
