Document Description
Caltrans is proposing the relinquishment of right of way parcels located along Route 880 (previous alignment before construction of new Cypress Freeway) between Mandela Parkway and 7th Street at Post Miles 32.1 to 32.5 in West Oakland. Caltrans currently operates a Park & Ride lot on these parcels. Th Oakland Housing Authority (OHA) proposes to purchase the parcels and use them as planned transit housing development. A seoarate project by the OHA proposes a replacement Park & Ride lot at 5th Street and Mandela Parkway in Oakland.
