Proposed project is an amendment to the existing County Code of Regulations, starting with Chapter 4.68, regarding wells. Specifically, the proposal is to add a section to the Well Ordinance regarding the issuance of permits for large wells in the Westside Basin Aquifer. The Westside Basin Aquifer spans from the area along the western third of San Francisco, south into San Mateo County, east of the San Andreas Fault line to the southern Burlingame/northern San Mateo border.
