Document Description
The proposed project consists of the following actions at the site:
1) Demolition and removal of the existing house, including slab, barn, and other structures;
2) Removal of landscaping and 2 inches of topsoil from the project site, including approximately 20 ornamental trees, mostly English walnuts; and
3) Placement of sand to a depth of 5 feet throughout the 1.5 acres of the property and grading of the site to a level surface. Edges of the berm would be sloped to reduce erosion. The proposed actions would be limited to the area north of the concrete-lined drainage ditch along Garden Highway at the southern edge of the property. No construction would occur in the ditch itself, or in the riparian woodland and park site south of Garden Highway.
