Nextel proposes to construct, operate, and maintain an unmanned, Enhanced Specialized Mobile Radio (ESMR) communications facility on the developed residential property located at 1501 Mina De Oro. The facility consists of 12 panel antennas, measuring 1 foot wide and 4 feet in length, with 2 sectors (of 8 antennas) mounted directly to an equipment enclosure and one sector (of 4 antennas) pole-mounted adjacent to an existing water tank. A 230-square-foot equipment enclosure is proposed to house equipment for the facility. One BMR and 2 GPS antennas will be installed on the equipment building. The shelter will be painted to blend in with the natural backdrop of vegetation and hillside.
