This project would involve the refurbishment and enhancement of existing facilities at the park, including expansion of the multi-purpose building, construction of a new parking lot, and renovation of the kitchen in the existing multi-purpose building. New park features would also include a picnic shelter, multi-purpose court with lighting (basketball/tennis/volleyball), perimeter excercise bath, relocated horseshoe pit, and security lighting. Completion of the project would require approximately nine months. No major improvements have occured at this popular local park since the 1950s.
