The proposed project is an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) training center, herefater called the San Bernardino Regional Emergency Training Center (SBRETC) at the San Bernardino International Airport (SBIA) in San Bernardino, California. The SBRETC will provide aircraft rescue and firefighting training in a safe, reaistic and environmentally acceptable facility to firefighters in the Southern California and Southern Nevada region.
