Land Use and Zoning Designations are currently under review as a part of this project. The update will make changes to certain land use designations.
Document Description
The City of Coalinga is in the process of updating its General Plan. To comply with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) provisions, a Master EIR will be used to identify all potential environmental impacts associated with the update. The Master EIR process is slightly different than the process associated with other types of EIR's in that it stands alone. The consistency of the Master EIR will follow the guidelines specified in Section 21100 of the CEQA guidelines.
