- Document Description
- Caltrans proposes to improve SR198 by converting the existing two-lane conventional highway to a four-lane divided expressway for 16.2 kilometers (10.1mi.) from 0.8 kilometers (0.5mi.) east of SR43 near Hanford to 0.6 kilometers (0.37mi.) west of SR 99 near Visalia. The intersection of Road 68 and Route 198 in Tulare Co. would be separated with an overcrossing without ramps because the SR198/SR99 interchange is less than a half mi. away.
