Document Description
The project is a study to determine the environmentally preferred way to deal with shell mounds that remain at the sites of the Chevron oil platforms Hope, Heidi, Hilda and Hazel, all removed in 1996. The EIR/EA will assess the physical and chemical make-up of the mounds, different methods of removal, different disposal options and mitigation measures to be imposed if the mounds are left in place.
