Document Description
The 102.00 acre (net) Central Park will become the nucleus of the City's comprehensive park system. It will balance an open park setting with a diversity of cultural, educational and recreational facilities. The Omni Center will include a library, a performing arts center, community center, fine arts center, with a central plaza as the unifying element. The sports center will include a tennis complex, swim complex, and gymnasium. Large open space areas provided opportunities for picnicking, gathering, jogging, certs in the park, interpretive gardens, nature trails, play areas for children of all ages, and special events.
