Document Description
The Removal Action Workplan (RAW) will implement clean-up procedures at the site for the immediate excavation, removal, and off-site disposal of soils impacted with elevated levels of lead. The RAW, prepared in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 25356.1 (h)(1), includes the excavation and offsite disposal of approximately 115 cubic yards of the lead-impacted soil from Area 1. Excavation, sampling, and restoration activities are expected to occur over a two-day period. Approximately 115 cubic yards of lead-impacted soil will be excavated and confirmation samples will be collected to verify the specified cleanup goal (i.e., DTSC screening level of 255 miligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) has been achieved. During the proposed excavation, no students, faculty or unauthorized persons will be on the site.
