Document Description
The purpose of this contract amendment is to augment the work of the original contract by completing the work at a new site location, the Semitropic Water Storage District. The purpose of the original contract is to prove the technical, economic, and environmental suitability of the PowerWheel Technology for converting energy from low-head waterfalls into cost-competitive electricity. This meets the PIER goal of improving environmental quality, improving the reliability of California's electricity, and positively impacting California's state and local economies.
