Document Description
The project consists of installing three boulder wing deflectors. Each deflector will cover 12 linear feet of eroding streambank for a total of 36 linear feet of affected bank. They will extend up the bank six feet. They will extend 15 feet out from the bank. As the plan view is indicated in the California Salmonid Stream Habitat manual, the "footprint" is a triangle, in this instance 12 feet wide at the base and the width on one boulder at the tip. The total volume of placed boulders will be about 30 yards or 10 yards per deflector. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0183 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
