Document Description
The new water line will begin at an existing water valve located at the junction of the main park road and the SRI Road at the east end of the park and tie into the existing overhead fill at the northwest edge of the motocross track parking lot. It will cross approximately 410 feet of the dry floodplain and channel Corral Hollow Creek. The total length of the water line will be 770 feet and it will be installed underground. Outside of the floodplain area, the excavated trench will be 36 inches deep and 12 inches wide. Within the 410 foot floodplain, the trench depth will be increased to 5.5 feet. Four-inch diameter PVC pipe will be set in concrete at the bottom of the trench and then the trench will be backfilled with native material. The trench will be excavated using a train trencher and will be backfilled and compacted by hand according to contract specifications.
