Document Description
The project will reinforce an existing communications cable and an existing conduit system, approximately 2900 meters along the Caltrans Right-of-Way along Highway 49, to complete the 911 emergency link between the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Yosemite/Mariposa Airport. The communications cable will cross three unnamed tributaries to Agua Fria Creek. If directional boring is not possible, the cable will be installed and buried in the creek bed with a back-hoe to a depth of 30 inches.
