Document Description
The proposed project consists of a gift transfer of ownership for a parcel of land which is adjacent to fair property. The parcel, currently owned by the County of Kern, is approximately .67-acre in size, and has been leased and used by the fair for a picnic area for approximately 50 years. Acceptance of property will have minimal impact on the department's operation and maintenance costs; any costs will be absorbed in the existing budget. The property will continue to be used as a picnic pavilion area during the fair.
