Document Description
The project will replace the existing Pacific Bell communications trunk lines across Cottonwood Creek in Shasta and Tehama Counties, necessitated by replacement of the existing County Road Main Street bridge with a new bridge crossing. The communications lines will be placed within four (4) - 4" diameter plastic conduits, will be open trenched for approximately 450 feet within the high flow flood plain, and will be jacked and bored between jacking and receiving pits located outside the active low flow channel for approximately 450 feet. The new conduits will have negligible additional capacity than the abandoned conduits.
