Document Description
The applicant proposes to build a bridge over Indian Gulch Creek to gain access to a proposed residence at 5 Hampton Court, Piedmont, Alameda County, Assessor's Parcel Numbers: 51-4728-009, 018, and 019. The bridge is a single lane vehicle bridge with a 16'-0" wide right of way. The span is to be 28'-0" between abutments. The concrete abutments on either side of the bridge will be on piers drilled into bedrock. The bridge is to be constructed of pre-cast, pre-tensioned 28'-0" long concrete beams that will clear span between abutments, to minimize concrete forming and being poured over the streambed. The proposed work includes asphalt roadbed on the bridge. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0137 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
