Document Description
Develop an approximately 100' square native plant garden adjacent to the reconstructed Coast Miwok Village site. Approximately 30 1'x1' holes will be dug. A 4' wide 150' long path will be mowed and defined by rocks placed on each side. Stakes will be installed to support the protective wire mesh and to support an interpretive panel at each plant. The purpose of the project is to inform the public of Miwok's knowledge and use of native plants. A DPR qualified archeologist will monitor all excavation.
