Document Description
The proposed project consists of installation of lighting equipment, including poles, lights, pole foundations, and electrical equipment at three ball fields (softball, baseball, and football fields) at the California School for the Deaf. At the softball field, two 70-foot standards, each containing eight lights, and two 60-foot standards, each containing four lights would be installed. For the baseball field, two 80-foot standards, each containing twelve lights, two 70-foot standards, each containing eight lights, and two 70-foot standards, each containing six lights would be installed. For the football field, four 80-foot standards, each containing 16 lights would be installed. As part of the project, a transformer and transformer pad would be installed at one of the ball fields and a 12-kilovolt electrical line would be installed from a campus activity center to the transformer. Following installation of the lighting equipment, the ball fields would be used at night for league games, intramural games, and other sports activities. At the football field, league games would be played once a week and intramural games would be played twice a week. At the baseball field, league games would be played twice a week and intramural games would be played two to three times per week.
