Document Description
Applicant is requesting a right to divert to storage six acre-feet of water per annum, behind two earthen dams. Dams were constructed in October 2000, each with a vertical height of 4 feet, a length of 150 feet, approximate surface area of 0.3 acres, and an approximate capacity of 3.0 af. Water collected to storage pursuant to this application will be used for stockwatering and wildlife enhancement. Water will be diverted from December 1 through March 31 from two points of diversion (POD). POD 1 is an unnamed stream tributary to Little Juniper Creek thence South Fork Pit River thence Pit River. POD 2 is an unnamed stream tributary to Fitzhugh Creek thence South Fork Pit River thence Pit River. Both reservoirs are located approximately 2 miles northeast of the ocmmunity of McArthur in Modoc County.
