Document Description
Applicant is requesting a right to divert to storage nine acre-feet of water per annum, behind three earthen dams. Dams were constructed in October 2000, each with a vertical height of 4 feet, a length of 150 feet, approximate surface area of 0.3 acres, and an approximate capacity of 3.0 af. Water collected to storage pursuant to this application will be used for stockwatering and wildlife enhancement. Water will be diverted from December 1 through March 31 from three points of diversion (POD). POD 1 is an unnamed stream tributary to Dannhauser Reservoir thence Jim Creek. POD 2 is an unnamed stream tributray to Dannhauser Reservoir thence Jim Creek. POD 3 is an unnamed stream tributary to Payne Reservoir thence Dannhauser Reservoir, thence Jim Creek. Reservoirs are located approximately 2 miles northeast of the community of McArthur in Modoc County.
