Document Description
Remove exotic plants and encroaching conifers in six work sites to preserve coastal shrub and grasslands between Bear Harbor and Whale Gulch. No herbicides will be used. Weed wrenches, grip hoists, chain saws, and pulaskis will be used. Plant material will be disposed of by chipping, scattering, or burning. Each site will be field reviewed by a DPR qualified cultural resource specialist with the project lead to identify and flag exclusion zones of historic plantings.
