Document Description
Repair and alter the existing Buttermilk Bend Trail on the north side of the South Yuba River, upstream from Bridgeport in South Yuba River State Park as necessary to make the trail ADA accessible. A total of five pedestrian bridges and a river viewing platform will be constructed. Approximately 1200 feet of trail will be realigned, along with approximately 2000 feet of trail tread improvement.

Project consists of the repair and minor alteration of existing public facilities and topographical features, involving negligible expansion of use beyond current levels; the construction/location of a limited number of new, small facilities and structures; and minor public alterations in the condition of land and vegetation that will not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees (included as "trail construction of realignment" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR 15300.4.
