Document Description
The EIR will evaluate two alternate proposals. The first alternative reflects the applicant's proposal to construct a 266 unit apartment complex and dedicate 6.59 acres for a city park. The applicant has also requested that an alternate plan ("Increased Park Plan") be evaluated at the same level as the proposed project. This alternate plan consists of 273 apartment units, with more land for the city park. The applicant proposes to build 266 apartment units, construct off-site water and sewer improvements, dedicate land within the Santa Rosa Creek setback for open space, and dedicate land around the Carillo Adobe for a public park. If the City of Santa Rosa or other public or non-profit entity accepts the offer of dedication, then at some future time, a new public park may be constructed and operated at the site of the Adobe.
