Document Description
Residential/mixed-use development in West Oakland including 168 subsidized public housing and affordable tax credit housing rental residential units; 19 for-sale affordable housing units; approximately 22,000 sf of commercial uses and 270 parking spaces for the proposed residents and retail uses. The development would be partially funded by a US Department of HUD HOPE VI Revitalization Program grant, administered through the Oakland Housing Authority to develop one-for-one replacement of 46 existing public housing units and 122 additional rental units. The project would relocate a Caltrans Park-and-Ride lot to two parcels at fifth and Market Streets.
