The project will replace the existing Greenwood Creek Bridge with a new concrete boxgirder bridge 505-feet long and 26-feet wide. The work at the bridge abutments will be constructed using the cast in drill hole method which will require construction of a coffer dam around the pier. The new pier will not be in Greenwood Creek itself but above the ordinary high water line.
