Document Description
Modesto City Schools is proposing to construct a new high school in Stanislaus County. The proposed site for Joseph A. Gregori High School is approximately 80 acres in size and located in the Salida area, north of the City of Modesto. The site is surrounded by agricultural lands and rural residential on the north and south, agricultural lands to the east, and a technology park, career school, small manufacturing and offices to the west across Stoddard Road. The site is currently in private ownership under one single owner. The proposed project includes construction of a high school campus including various academic buildings (home economics, science, industrial technology, etc.), an administration building, cafeteria, gymnasium, boys and girls locker rooms, a media center, theater and snack bar. In addition, the campus will include a swimming pool, sports fields and an outdoor stadium.
