The Browns Valley Irrigation District (BVID) currently irrigates a gross area of 50,650 acres within its District boundaries with water diverted under a combination of pre- 1914 appropriative water right permits (Permit Nos. 8649, 9703, and 16792). The BVID has requested the State Water Resources Control Board (Board) to issue licenses for these three permits. The proposed project consists of modifying the terms of, and licensing, this previously permitted water storage and delivery system infrastructure.
