Document Description
The demolition of the existing building and the construction of a two-story, approximately 56,358-square foot Bessie Carmichael Elementary School and Child Development Center. The new building would contain 25 classrooms which could accommodate a maximum of approximately 590 students for grade K through 5 and pre-Kindergarten, and about 46 full time faculty and 14 part time staff. The main entrance would be on 7th Street with a secondary access on Cleveland Street. There would be no parking on the site.
