Document Description
The proposed reservoir has been built as an offstream facility; no Point of Diversion (POD) has yet been constructed specifically for this reservoir. The proposed Place of Use covers approximately 180 acres; the applicant has begun planting this acreage in vineyard. The Purpose of Use is irrigation and frost protection of the vineyard. A total of three POD's, including two from existing licensed water rights (PODs 1&2 below) and new POD 3, are included in this application, though not all of them may be used (POD 3 on Wood Canyon is expected to be the primary source).
