Document Description
The proposed project is a Master Plan for the reconstruction and expansion of Olive Pierce Middle School and Ramona High School on approximately 100 acres. This Master Plan includes the 40-acre parcel adjacent to both the middle school and high school campuses. The reconstructed and expanded facilities will accommodate a maximum of 1,600 middle school students and 3,500 high school students. The 40-acre adjacent parcel will include additional playfields for both schools and additional parking for the playfields and high school. In addition, the project proposes to extend and cul-de-sac 16th Street to be used as a parent pick-up/drop off location for Olive Pierce Middle School. A walkway will also be constructed which will allow pedestrian access from 16th Street to the middle school. Expansion of the middle school campus includes expanded administration and gymnasium facilities, additional classrooms, restroom facilities, hardcourts, and parking within 44,500 to 48,500 square feet. Expansion of the high school campus includes expanded administration and gymnasium facilities, additional classrooms, laboratories, restrooms, and a library/instructional media center within 253,000 to 280,000 square feet.
